I took this photo in our backyard when we lived in Portland Oregon. I love the backdrop of the pots stacked up from fall clean up. The brown chicken’s name is Heart and is an Americana breed of chicken, my youngest daughter named her.
The black and white chicken is named Sally, named by my oldest daughter; she is a Plymouth Rock breed. She is probably the tamest chicken I have ever seen, my daughter holds her like a baby and rocks her to sleep. When not being rocked to sleep she follows the kids around the yard begging for food and attention.
